Day 7
From the homestay your driver will take you to one of the hotels in Kottayam town. From there you will be driven to Konni, an agricultural area. You will visit the state-owned elephant training centre where elephants caught from the forests are brought for taming and training. From there Kerala tourism holidays will take you to Aranmula area. There, you will enjoy watching how the World famous metal mirror the so called Aranmula Kannadi is made. This is a unique craft not found anywhere else in the world.

If you come during the Onam season (August/September), you can see the Onam Boat Race. It will be just fabulous to watch the long snake boats (each with around 150 rowers) in action. It will be a feast for the eyes to see the rowers in perfect unison and the water splashing.

You will be driven to the Perumthenaruvi waterfalls on the river Pamba. You can enjoy the scenic beauty and see a variety of birds not seen in Europe.
